He has been using the Deshpande method for all the crops with excellent results. The tuvar seeds were planted after using my seed dressing technique. His aged father happily informed me that the tuvar crop was the best they had in his long farming career.

Dr. Rajput resides at Tavandi-Shippur, District Belgaum but has his farm at Danwad. He uses Deshpande method for the crops. The monsoon rainfall was above normal during the year he had planted soybean. The farms were waterlogged and still the rains continued. The soybean cultivators suffered heavy losses but Dr. Rajput had a satisfactory crop without any damage. The yield was 12 quintals per acre.
In order to Demonstrate that the Deshpande Method is effective in all types of soils, I am giving below instances of the use of this technique in the laterite or red soil. Unlike the black soil mentioned in the previous cases, the red soil drains very quickly i.e. it is not water retentive.
